Make an effort to incorporate a daily walk. Daily walks can help trim your waistline and increase your energy. A walk can be a stroll around the park on a nice day or perhaps walking upstairs to your office building instead of taking an elevator. Physical activity will only intensify your weight loss results, especially while supplementing with the Vi-Shakes.
Don't Stall Success
Blowing off exercise can stall progress. All physical activity burns calories at a faster rate during and after your workout or activity. If at all possible aim to complete a cardio session 3 or 4 times a day but if not, incorporate whatever activity you can.
Catch your ZZZZZ's! Studies have shown that people that sleep between six and eight hours a night control their weight better than people who get more or less hours. Getting enough sleep has a direct affect on hormones that regulate appetite.
Try not to zone out in front of the TV. It definitely doesn't burn many calories, and your metabolic rate could actually decline more while watching TV that while your resting! That's exactly why they make commercials, get up and do something during a commercial break to keep your metabolism from zoning out.
Give Yourself a Break
Take a time-out. If you are about to berate yourself over a shortcoming, pause for a second and fill that second with positive thoughts. Tell yourself that this is just a minor setback and is a part of life. It happens to the best of us and we need to be compassionate to lower levels of cortisol which is a stress hormone.
Practice self compassion. You lend a shoulder and encouraging words anytime a friend, or family member needs one because of a setback but if you screw up your ready to get negative and rehash every little thing that you think you did wrong. Being accountable and having high standards is a wonderful goal, but achieving perfection each and every time is practically impossible. Go easy on yourself
See the silver lining. People tend to think the worst, but you waste valuable energy beating yourself up and being negative. Sometimes you just cant control everything. Always remember that you are not the only one that slips up. Use your mistakes as learning opportunities and building blocks to make a better you.
